Marine Parks WA

The Swan Estuary Marine Park protects three areas of Perth’s beautiful Swan River which provide many different habitats for a host of plants and animals. Especially important are the remarkable red-necked stints, very tiny and very cute little birds that have flown thousands of kilometres from their breeding areas in Arctic Siberia to feed in the warm mudflats of the Swan Estuary.
